No Smoking – Unless You're Wild About Impotence

Your wife might not say anything, but are you really pleasing her? Hear one woman's frustrated account of difficult sex with a smoking, nearly impotent husband, and find out how you can tackle your own sex issues.

Case #: 861

Concern:

My husband and I have had some problems in the past. To start off he used to tell me my vagina was too loose and of course I believed it. I now feel that the problem all along was his. I am 31 years old and have never had kids and for the past 6 months or so I have been doing the tightening exercises. My husband is 30 and has smoked for fifteen years. It seems that his penis does not get very erect. We used to have sex all the time and now he has no desire and I used to worry when we did have sex because he would sometimes lose his erection and I of course blamed myself.

Discussion:

Sex is a leading bone of contention among married couples. And speaking of bones, it definitely sounds like the intimacy problem lies with your husband (that's usually the case, I'm afraid). Smoking, soft erections, lack of libido...these are three pieces of an all-too familiar puzzle. We know that smoking causes lung cancer, heart disease and abject poverty (did someone say $4.00 a pack?), but did you know that it can also cause erectile dysfunction and even impotence in men? Yeah. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

Anatomy of a Soft Penis

Tobacco fills the body with toxic chemicals, clogging the sensitive arteries and inhibiting blood flow to the penis. As a result, the unwitting victim finds it difficult to achieve a rock hard erection, when he can get an erection at all. Smoking also depletes the body of serotonin, an important neurotransmitter that regulates sex drive. Without an ample supply of serotonin, sex is about as exciting as watching a documentary on the history of alfalfa.

So the first thing you need to do is talk to your husband about his disgusting oral habit (the smoking, I mean). Encourage him to give up the death sticks, and not only will his libido and erections improve, but you just may double your disposable income. Hawaii, here we come!

Second, consider whether he may have any other unhealthy habits that can contribute to premature impotence, such as poor diet, marijuana use, or frequent masturbation. All of these habits deplete important hormones and turn otherwise virile men into sexual jellyfish.

Herbs for All

There's an old joke that goes, “Don't smoke...unless you want to look really cool.” Well there's nothing cool about being 30 years old and impotent, so let's get this issue under control. In addition to adopting healthy lifestyle habits, I would advise the consumption of healthy herbs formulated for improved blood flow to the penis. (TRY: Weak Erection Restoration Herbal Formula) Cuscuta, Butea Superba and Panax Ginseng are just some of the herbs that serve this purpose, while others, like Pyrola, Maca and Sarsasparilla Jamaican, help to improve libido by balancing the hormones. Thankfully, you don't need to shop around for 17 different herbs. You can find ready-made herbal remedies that contain all of these ingredients and more. If you need to sneak them into your husband's food when he's not looking, we won't tell.
